X714 security’s CCTV cameras are amongst the most sophisticated models on the market. And that means they can offer a far greater range of services than a standard video camera.
X714 security is one of the few companies to actually build the Digital Video Recorders at the core of our system, so we have in-depth knowledge of their versatility and the range of security options they can provide.
Link our cameras to a broadband service, and our Alarm Receiving Centre can monitor, interpret and respond to images which show a threat to the site, be it from intruders, fire or any other danger.
The obvious application is guarding sites during the hours of darkness or when the workforce is absent at weekends or public holidays.
But the system is far more versatile than that. We can configure the system to enable the client to receive and review live video images direct to their own computers, over the Internet, or even to video-enabled mobile phones.
That means a site agent for example can check what’s actually happening in the materials compound at any time of the day or night.
The agent, or other any other authorised senior manager might be in their office only yards from the materials compound. They might equally well be at home, or halfway round the world on business or on holiday.
As long as they have access to a broadband service, have security clearance, and password protocols from X714 security, they can dial in and check the live video images from any of their cameras on any of their sites.
We can even configure the system to send an email or SMS text alert when an alarm is triggered which means the recipient not only knows that there has been an incident, but can check out live video streams of the incident which caused the alert.
So the X714 security video monitoring system is much more than a night watchman. The systems versatility gives it tremendous potential to increase security, reduce theft of materials and plant.
It even has implications for health and safety, in that site managers can spot workers who are not complying with safety regulations, perhaps by not wearing a helmet or a safety harness.
The cameras digitally encrypt any incident they record a valuable feature in both criminal and safety cases.
If a crime has been committed the digitally encrypted images are recognised as acceptable evidence in court, greatly increase the prospects of successful convictions.
And they can provide definitive evidence of what actually happened where there is an on-site accident with the potential for civil court actions, and the inherent risk of huge damages settlements.
